Welcome Referees

Palmer Soccer Club is currently recruiting interested individuals to join our team of referees. Ages 12 and up are invited to be an integral part of our soccer community. Referees are paid based on certification and age group of games.

Certified Referees

To be certified you need to be 13 years or older and complete the certification process thru US Soccer Learning Center at U.S. Soccer Learning Center (ussoccer.com). The certification process requires completing tutorial videos online, taking an online exam and attending an in-person class. The cost for certification is approximately $57.00. If you are 18 years or older you are required to take a SafeSport course and get a background check. A certified referee will be required to provide their own uniform, and earn a slightly higher pay rate than a non-certified referee.
